Over the years, I have done a wide range of work. This list is just a sampling of that work and experience.
- 1999 - 2001
- Staples - I worked up from general stockboy to the tech department. This experience strengthened my communication skills and helped me to ask better questions that help resolve needs. It also created a wide variety of opportunities to fix ailing computers.
- 2001 - 2003
- Brasil - No, it is not misspelled, they use an "s" in place of the "z." I spent time in the huge city of São Paulo and the state of Pernambuco, which is located in the north. This experience opened me up to another culture and perceptions on life and the United States. The immersion also led me to become fluent in Português.
- 2003 - 2008
- N3rdling - Over the course of the five years I attended the University of Idaho, I worked concurrent jobs doing general IT work for the College of Education, the Center on Disabilities and Human Development, and for the TRiO programs.
- 2008 - 2009
- Bickel - My first job as a college graduate was teaching 6th grade at Bickel Elementary. The entire experience was awesome! In fact, they must really love me as I am still listed as a staff member there!
- 2009 - Present
- O'Leary - With the new high school opening up, I was transfered to Vera C. O'Leary Middle School, or O'Leary for short. This year has been really hard, as I have been writing a new science curriculum with the other amazing 6th grade science teachers. Despite the hardships and long nights, I love working at O'Leary and with all the great staff.
