- Reference Librarian October 1983 - present. College of Southern Idaho Library, Twin Falls, ID. Present duties include general reference for CSI students, faculty, staff, and administration, as well as the public; library use instruction; collection development; Library Science program advisor and instructor.
- Reference Librarian October 1982 - June 1983. Library, St. Martin's College, Lacey, WA. Duties included Reference Desk, maintenance of the Reference collection, library instruction, computer searching on Dialog, and supervision of evening work-study students.
- Library Assistant January 1981 - September 1982. Music Library, University of Washington, Seattle, WA. Duties included circulation, assisting patrons with basic reference quest5ions and location of materials, supervision of the library in the absence of the librarian, catalog card filing, and checking in new materials.
Professional Development Activities
- 2001 - learned to use basic Dreamweaver features to edit and maintain the Library's web pages, and put the Library Skills course on Blackboard.
- 2004 - attended the LOEX of the West Conference, and three online information literacy seminars sponsored by the ACRL.
- 2005 - attended the Idaho Library Futures Conference, and joined the Public Relations & Advocacy Committee of the ILA.
- 2006 - elected ILA Treasurer. Have just been re-elected for my third two-year term
- 2007 - attended ACRL Virtual Conference.
- 2008 - attended Reference Renaissance Conference, and served on the LiLI Steering Committee.
