Background and Family
I grew up in Davis, California. I met my wife in grad school at the University of Washington, and we moved to Idaho in 1983, when I was hired to work at the CSI Library. We raised three kids here. Our older son works as an editor at the Times-News. Our daughter just graduated from college and is working for the BLM. Our younger son is still at home. My wife is also a librarian, and keeps the doctors at St. Luke's apprised of the latest research. We used to own two cats and a dog, but now are down to one cat.
Hobbies and Favorites
I like music, poetry, abstract painting, and books. (My wife would like to turn me into a knitter, as well.)
