HTML History

Tutorial 1

HTML has taught me more than just codes for developing a web page. I have also learn the history of this subject and the differences between Internet and the World Wide Web (www). The usage of pictures and use them as a link to give a more interactive navigation on the web page, is something that I have also learn in this class. It is very important to know and to keep oneself updated in this technological subject. Now we have programs such as Microsoft Expression Web that helps us to create web pages with its easy access tools.

Tutorial 2

The usage of links in the browser such as thumbnails, e-mail links and other links that connect to external web pages such as Business Week page, helps us to connect our work with someone else's webpage. This contribute to the extension of the World Wide Web. The ramifications used in the navigation helps us to move back and forth to pages related to ours and make the experience of "surfing" on the internet quite faster.

Tutorial 3

During the course of tutorial 3 we learned how to use colors for fonts, backgrounds, etc. Also how to use different fonts and how to make them useful in other operative systems like Mac. Creating inlinse styles help us to apply styles to certain places within a document.

Tutorial 4

In this section we got into more details of CSS and its properties. While in tutorial 43 we had an insight of background color and font properties. This is a bit of a remainder and also teaches us text properties. Such properties are to format the case, size, and lining are taught in this chapter.

Tutorial 5

After working with text properties, color, and positioning, is time to see image properties. By setting the margins, borders and padding of the content of each box helps to set up a more organized page. After finishing with the web page we can create a link to a CSS file to make all the "page families" work with the same CSS style.
