30 Second Commercial
In my 30 second commercial I used After Effects and Illustrator to showing some of the work I created while attending The College of Southern Idaho. The programs I have used to create my work include Photoshop, CorelDRAW, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, Premiere Pro, and Soundbooth. I hope you enjoy my work.
Documentary Excerpt
This is an excerpt of our 16 minute documentary. For our documentary we decided to research the Right to Work Laws, and the effect they had on working conditions. As we worked on this project we gained a greater understanding about Unions and there role in early American history. We decided that unions brought better working conditions to people and stricter safety laws to the work force. In the end we decided that unions are very good if they are controlled by the people that belong to them, and if there sole purpose was to serve the people who belong to them. I hope you enjoy the documentary that Peter, Eric and I created.
CodeName Jack & Jill Excerpt
This is an excerpt from our 19 minute video that was created in Multimedia Production. We took the second half of the semester to plan out and create this video. We first had to come up with the story and scripting it. Next we worked on where we would film and who would act in it. We decided that all our actors would come from the class. Each person was also designated to be over individual parts of the production process. After doing this project I learned that when it comes to filming you need quality audio equipment and multiple takes of the same scene. We ran into a problem with the static that came from the boom mike we had to use. We made it work with the equipment, and time frame we had, but there is still much more that can be done with this video. Post production created some challenges when working with multiple people, and bringing all the different parts together for one finished product. I know from experience that file organization is a key part when working in a group setting. We worked through our differences and were able to produce a final product.
4 For 44 Commercial
For one of my Internships I did video work for The CSI basketball team. One project we were given was to create a commercial for a special going on this season. This is the commercial Erin, Freddy, and I created.
