Work as a clinical assistant operating as a certified nursing assistant in the emergency department. Skills used include taking accurate vital signs and reporting general impressions to RN, documentation, assist triage nurse with initial triage, performing 12-lead EKGs, application of dressings of various types, application of pre-made splints of various types and assisting providers and nurses with procedures where appropriate.
