Cindy's Blog
Hello everyone! It’s the start of another semester. This is my last semester before I graduate. This really kind of saddens me because I really like it here at CSI. It’s too bad I could not be a career student. I would really like that; however, the pay isn’t very good so I would have to be independently wealthy for that to happen.
My goal after graduating is to gain employment in the Web development field and continue my education in the programming and marketing aspects of my chosen field. I have already looked into some of the other college’s curriculum and found that BYU of Idaho probably has the most potential for advancement. It sounds like they have more of an online classes capability. I am not really sure because I am in the middle of my inquiry. Also Idaho State University College of Technology has a unique, customized curriculum going. Hopefully I will find employment that will encourage knowledge advancement.
Last semester I wrote an ‘about me’ page for a Flash Web site that was a spoof of an online dating blog. I thought it was rather clever. So in the interest of saving a little time I thought I would iterate it into this page. My sense of humor as follows.
I have done so many “about me” pages in the three semesters that I have been in college; I feel like I should be dating by now. I think I will try something a little different this time. So here I go.
I like my dog most of the time, I like my cats some of the time and I love my kids no matter what. I really enjoy building Web pages. My favorite color is burgundy, today. Tomorrow it may be violet, yellow, pink or cyan. I like the smell of fresh cut grass, which somehow smells sweeter when I am not the one having to cut it. I really like flowers even if they cause an allergy attack. I find hummingbirds extremely amusing, next year I want to double my feeders. I like cozy warm fires on cold winter evenings even though I haven’t had the pleasure since I was a child. My favorite thing to eat is food! Yes, as opposed to non-food items. I don’t care for walks on the beach. It’s really hard to walk through that darn sand; I prefer well-beaten paths.
So that’s pretty much me in a nutshell!
