In this tutorial (tutorial 1), I have learned how to create a very basic website out of codes (HTML). My perception of web design is that is requires a lot of memorization from the beginning with all the different codes. It should be surprisingly easy though, once a get some memorization done. I think web design is heading in a positive path, I think it will always be needed. Even for web-based app systems, they need a design for there system. There are many occupations for web developers ranging from freelance work to owning your own firm. With my knowledge I would like to display my work that I will be doing in my media design classes for my future when I apply for jobs. This will be a good and fun way to show my work to potential employers.
