My main interest in design
Hello my name is Freddy Silva, I am a very determined and hard worker that hopes one day to be well versed in my ability of design. I have experience touching on many aspects of designing but my main focus is web site design and I soon hope to go back to school to become experienced in web programming as well. The web has always interested me since I was very young; when I learned more about it I really admired the independence of this area of work. I was pleasantly surprised when I was introduce to some basic html elements of design.
Since I was a child I've always liked puzzles and detailed things that required first observation before action, clarity before something could be resolved. I found that html designing and working with syntax provided me with this outlet. Staring at syntax can get hard after a while, though I find it enjoyable to watch elements fit in their required fields and feel a sense of accomplishment. However, I actually enjoy when things don't go as they are expected to in my web designing because I love to solve problems and search in detail and discover why they aren't going according to plan. Solving my issues with design is very rewarding to me, it teaches me new things as the learning process never ends in life which keeps things interesting.
My other artistic interests and hobbies
I enjoy drawing on my free time I am adept at it though I prefer not using color or fill. Primarily when I draw I only draw in contour line and use line as detail this has afforded me some strength in working with vectors as vector designing is similar in that case. I plan on creating my own Photoshop digital painting portfolio; though I have a hard time with physical painting and utilizing color in hand to paper projects, digital painting I find easy, no mess, and enjoyable. I am a crafting sort of person and like using other mediums and exploring new creative aspects such as jewelry crafting. I hope to learn to sow, as well as sculpt I feel the sky is the limit so long the contemplation is there.
